Man United and Real Madrid Set For Transfer Showdown

Manchester United will go in for Erling Haaland again this summer, according to reliable journalist James Robson.

The striker only joined Borussia Dortmund last January, but due to a release clause in his contract, Haaland is available for just £63m in the next transfer window.

Such a price can be regarded as quite a steal, given the fact that the 19-year-old has registered twelve goals in just eleven Bundesliga games since joining the German side.

Overall, Haaland has forty goals to his name this season, including hitting double digits in the Champions League. His reputation has simply soared through such performances, hence the heavy interested in his signature once more.

United missed out on the striker in January, but they are reportedly interested in triggering his new release clause. It won’t come without competition though, as Real Madrid have also been linked with the signing.

Zinedine Zidane’s side are still looking for somebody to replace Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals, with Luka Jovic simply not cutting it this season. The club are also in need of a long-term Karim Benzema replacement, and Haaland looks to be the profile to fit this need.

It certainly will be an interesting story to follow further, when the next window opens.
